Textured additive for powder coatings

Jietonda® SA207 is an amide modified vinylidene fluoride polymer which can be used as a special textured additive in powder coatings for household appliances,IT equipments, office appliances, playground equipments and other industrial applications.

1. Typical properties

Herein described to be typical properties and do not constitute specification limits.

2. Characteristics
　 ● Be applicable to any powder coating systems such as pure epoxy, hybrid, PES/TGIC or PES/HAA and PU etc to provide a special texture finish with fine-grained surface.
　 ● Very attractive and consistent texture finish can be obtained when it is compared with other texture additives at the present time.
　 ● Flow modifier and Benzoin in powder formulation can be omitted or decreased greatly. Therefore, the cost of powder coating is down probably.
　 ● Even if its use levels are very low such as 0.08%, the very attractive texture effect can be obtained.

3. Use method & levels
　 ● Premix SA207 with other components of the formula before extrusion.
　 ● The use level is 0.08 ~0.15% based on the total weight of the formulation.

4. Package & Storage
　 ● Packaging with PE lined fiber drums. Net weight 10kg per drum.
　 ● Store in cool and dry place. Avoid contacting with strong acids, bases and other organic chemicals together. Keep away from heat and fire.
　 ● Based on our experience the shelf life of this product under above conditions is at least 2 years.
