Slip and Degassing agent for powder coatings

Jietonda® SA500 is a micro wax based slip and degassing agent developed especially for powder coatings, which can be used as a slip promoter or a substitute of benzoin in various coating system.

1. Typical properties

Herein described to be typical properties and do not constitute specification limits.

2. Characteristics
　 ● Aid to reduce coating melt-flow viscosity and improve wetting of resin binder to substrate and pigment dispersing properties. Therefore, the smooth surface and better appearance can be obtained.
　 ● Can be used as a substitute of benzoin in powder coatings to impart better degassing and less yellowing effects. Especially, used in β-HAA system,to provide weather-resistant coating with more satisfied properties such as film thickness up to 100μm without air-bubble.
　 ● Due to its own lubricating character, improve the anti-caking and sieve-passing properties of coating powder and prevent blockage of spray gun simultaneously.
　 ● Exhibit good anti-mar property at proper added amounts.

3. Use method & levels
　 ● Premix SA500 with other components of the formula before extrusion.
　 ● The use level is 0.5-1.0% by total weight of formula.

4. Package & Storage
　 ● Packaging with PE lined Kraft paper bags. Net weight 20kg per bag.
　 ● Store in temperature between 2-32℃ or cool and dry place. Keep package closed after using. Keep away from heat and fire.
　 ● Based on our experience the shelf life of this product under above conditions is at least 2 years.
